LCMS TIM membership for tim practitioners
The LCMS TIM is both a working committee of the LCMS Council of Presidents and an association of LCMS Districts and trained TIM Practitioners. This professional association exists for the purpose of maintaining standards of practice and the equipping of its members toward excellence in transitional ministry for the sake of the Church and the extension of the Kingdom of God.

- Advocacy of opportunities for continuing education through the Lutheran Transitional Ministry Association (LuTMA)
- Support for the Credentialing Process recognized by the COP as the desired standard for IIM practitioners
- Access to the Clearinghouse whereby trained TIM Practitioners and their availability, mobility information, and other history are catalogued
- Being included with those who are informed of news and information about events, opportunities, and best practices in this ministry
- Access to the TIM Pastor’s Forum on Facebook
- Advocacy for group benefits with Concordia Plan Services
- Networking with other practitioners and judicatories for support and professional development
Individuals who are trained practitioners, both active and retired, or who wish generally to support this ministry will do so with an annual dues payment of $75 to become a member.
Dues may be paid electronically through PayPal at the time of registration for the Annual Conference through LuTMA or at any time of the year through the Michigan District, LCMS.

Your dues will be marked as paid for a year after your payment is received. This date will be reflected in the Clearinghouse so you know your current membership status. Your Credential Renewal date will be 3 years from the date payment is received and application processed.
